Come See Me fun has just ended and we had a great week. We kicked it off with chalk on main, where the kids get to draw with sidewalk chalk all over main street. Then we hit up Music Mania with lots of musical talent and hands on fun. Of course we saw lots of friends from school and church so there was a lot of running around. We also had the Easter Egg hunt at church (right after a soccer game), which I failed to take many pictures of. We went to Sundaes in the Garden with Mother Goose, ice cream sundaes, balloon animals (and hats) and of course, our good friend Mother Goose! This weekend was Everything Trucks (UPS was a big hit) and Kid Fit. The most fun was riding bikes on the Velodrome track. We didn’t make it up the vertical though. Then we handed out trash and recycle bags at Come See Me Tailgate and Fireworks. We went home got cleaned up and watched fireworks Morgan Style, with jammies, cookies, ear mups (that is what my kids call them ) and our Come See Me Fireworks Viewers. Whew! It was another great week of Come See Me, can’t wait until next year! Today, we just relaxed and James channeled his inner hipster. Hope you are having a great start to Spring!

Snow, round two
We have snow in SC again. We had early dismissal on Tuesday, and I don’t think we’ll make it back at all this week. Oh, and we have Monday off for President’s day. Oh boy. J’s cousin Thomas is here with us too so that’s been fun. The kids are bouncing off the walls, no school, about 6 inches of snow and a fun cousin to play with. We’re having fun!
Snow Day!
Beach Time
We went to the Young Life Regional Leader Retreat again this year. J’s mom went along too which was big fun. We had a great time hanging out with our York County Staff and Volunteers, we had worship with the Cash Family Band at the House of Blues and heard some great, Gospel centered messages. We spent a little windy time on the beach, but mostly hung out in the heated pool, lazy river and hot tub. Can’t wait until next year.

Videos!
I forgot I had some videos on my camera. Enjoy these sweet moments. I’ve especially enjoyed watching the summer fun on this cold winter day.
Christmas!
We made cookies, read Christmas stories, had family over to our home, exchanged gifts, including giant bags full of fun, went to a beautiful Christmas Eve Service, set out cookies for Santa and played with our new toys in the driveway at 7 am. We packed up later that afternoon and headed to Edgefield for more Christmas fun. It was a wonderful Christmas!
